A plain surface can bring continuity to a space. Decoration introduces character: something we recognise, remember and return to observe.
Loto begins with panels worked by hand. Its starting point is an idea explored through matter, through a gesture that leaves reliefs, directions and intervals. Studying these panels led to a design capable of becoming a ceramic surface within the Brera collection.
The transition is not simply about preserving a motif. A mark must find its own scale on the wall. Up close, we read the detail; from further away, we perceive a presence that changes the relationship between light, furnishings and the entire room.
This is how decorations become the soul of a collection. They do not add ornament at the end of a project: they can be the idea around which a project finds its identity.
In Loto, relief gives light a place to pause. The wall acquires a rhythm, and that rhythm enters the life of the room.
