Trama, the rhythm of a surface

One diagonal meets another. Repetition creates a direction, then a rhythm. Trama’s herringbone geometry explores this relationship between the individual element and the whole.

Within the Brera collection, the pattern remains tone on tone. Its presence does not depend on a strong colour contrast: relief makes it legible, especially when light reaches the surface from the side.

Up close, directions and meeting points emerge. From further away, the detail gathers into a texture that contributes to the scale of the wall. The pattern does not disappear; the way we perceive it changes.

Choosing a geometry therefore means considering more than a frontal image. Distance, the extent of the surface and the light that will move through the room throughout the day all matter.

Trama offers another way of reading the same material: rhythm becomes a quality of space.
