One room, three lights

The room has not changed. The light reaching it has.

In the morning, an opening can make a space feel larger and more legible. In the afternoon, lateral light reveals the depth of a relief. In the evening, illuminated areas and shadows create a different intimacy.

These are not three separate properties of the surface. They are three conditions in which we encounter it. A material chosen only under uniform light leaves out part of the experience of living with it.

The film observes this variation through Brera. Matter remains a stable reference while our perception of the room changes over time. A project can embrace this transformation instead of seeking a single image to keep unchanged.

When choosing a surface, we also imagine the hours we will spend in the space. Which details do we want to discover in the morning? What atmosphere do we want to return to when we come home?
